Neighborhood Meetings – HP Overlay Districts
The Tulsa Preservation Commission would like to invite the Historic Preservation Overlay Districts to the attend one of the public meetings noted below to discuss proposed zoning code amendments or any other historic preservation zoning questions.
The Tulsa Preservation Commission is proposing two zoning code amendments in relation to Historic Preservation Overlays.
- Amendment to Section 70.070-B of the Tulsa Zoning Code to require historic preservation (HP) permit review for accessory structures visible from the street. This would include accessory dwelling units.
- Amendment to section 70.070-E of the Tulsa Zoning Code to eliminate the 30-day time limit for decisions on HP permit applications. The time limit can potentially cause issues with more complicated projects, or when an applicant does not attend the meeting.
