Join us on September 17 for a FREE one-day workshop on painting historic homes! The workshop will be led by Old Home Rescue, an Oklahoma-based company with extensive experience repairing and restoring historic buildings.
Participants will learn about several topics and hands-on skills related to the maintenance and painting of historic siding. The workshop will help attendees understand the basics needed to take a DIY approach or ask their contractor the right questions to ensure they get a quality paint job for their historic home. Topics will include:
- Paint Removal
- Wood Repairs
- Primers
- Paint
- Sealants
- Common Causes for Paint to Fail
- Seasonal Maintenance
We are offering this workshop at no cost to a limited number of participants. Boxed lunches will provided by INCOG to all participants who sign up by Tuesday, September 13.
