Swan Lake Named a Top 10 Great Neighborhood by APA

City of Tulsa Director of Community Development Dwain Midget, joined by leadership of the Swan Lake Neighborhood Association, will announce the Swan Lake Neighborhood’s designation as a Top 10 Great Neighborhood by the American Planning Association.
Midget will make the announcement at a news conference Tuesday, October 4, at 2:00pm, on the west end of Swan Lake, approximately 2-3 blocks west of 17th Place and Utica Avenue.
Established in 1917, Swan Lake was named to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998. The neighborhood has received recognition not only for its past but also for its present role in the Tulsa community.
