Pearl Farmers Market Grand Opening, April 5

Helping spread the word about the new Pearl Farmers Market taking place on Thursday nights from 4pm to 8pm, April through October, at Centennial Park at 6th and Peoria.
The grand opening of the market is this Thursday, April 5. It’s a little early in the season for some vegetables, but we’d encourage everyone to stop by their grand opening to scope out the setup. Should be a great complement to the popular Saturday morning Cherry Street Farmers Market at 15th and Peoria.
We in preservation are hip to the "buy local" aspect of farmers markets. Supporting local (often family) farms helps preserve our rural landscape, prime farmland and small town communities. Plus, keeping your grocery dollars circulating locally helps create a sustainable local economy.
Yep, those veggies are even better for you than you thought. See you in the Pearl and on Cherry Street this growing season.
