Rehab Tax Credits Under Immediate Threat
Posted by Amanda DeCort on May 27, 2010 | Link to this Entry | Email this Entry
Latest news from the Capitol:
The TRAILER BILL that will amend provisions of SB1267 to help the historic rehab tax credits has not yet been heard! The session ends Friday and time is running out. Without the trailer bill, historic rehab tax credits will be lost for two years - along with millions of dollars in reinvestment.
Oklahoma needs the rehab tax credits to remain competitive, or towns large and small across the state will suffer irreparable harm.

"Striking a blow to history" by Michael Overall.

TPC to Meet Twice Monthly
Posted by Amanda DeCort on May 18, 2010 | Link to this Entry | Email this Entry
Starting in June, the Tulsa Preservation Commission will meet twice monthly instead of once. Adding a second meeting will allow us to process COA applications faster and better serve our citizens. The second meeting will be held late in the afternoon to accommodate citizens who can’t attend midday meetings.
The TPC will continue to meet on the second Thursday of each month at 11:00am. The second meeting will be at 4:30pm on the fourth Tuesday of each month. All meetings will continue to be held on the 10th Floor of City Hall, 175 E. 2nd Street.
The revised meeting schedule is available online or as a PDF download.
